Success and Safety

More than a third of inmates have no friends or family that visit them while they are incarcerated. Once released, pro-social support is the most important factor in reducing recidivism.

Colorado Circles of Support and Accountability

Colorado CoSA assists in the development of Circles of Support & Accountability sites throughout Colorado by providing resources to support local sites with their community education, volunteer recruitment, volunteer training by CoSA experts, and data collection to ensure CoSA program integrity which will result in reduced recidivism and safer communities. We equip and support community organizations in establishing Circles of volunteers who support the healthy transition and reentry of people who have committed sex offenses and are now eligible for community living.
